RESERVATION POLICIES
- Check-in – PLEASE no earlier than 3 PM. Later than 6 PM by appointment
- Check-out – 11 AM
- Payment by MasterCard, Visa or Discover. Sorry, no personal checks
- Credit card is required to hold reservation
- WE ARE A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT (In-room NO smoking/burning policy enforced; up to $200 service fee)
- Excessive cleaning and/or property destruction fees may apply.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
- CANCELLATION of reservation more than 14 days from stay = no charge.
- Cancellation within 14 days from stay, no refund if room goes vacant. IF the room can be re-booked = no cancellation fee.
- No REFUND if cancellation is within 24 hours.
- Please call to speak personally with B&B staff to make any cancellations.
We have cats, chickens and sheep on outside property – not indoors
All guest rooms require use of stairs to gain entry.
Sorry, no TVs or telephones in guest rooms.
Taxes not included in the posted room rates
Seasonal and festival rates may vary and include multiple night stays.
Two night minimum stays apply to most Saturday nights throughout the year.
Please follow the provided directions or (MapQuest or GPS will not get you here).
CHILDREN AT ALPENHORN GASTHAUS
Well behaved parents and their children are welcome at the Gasthaus on a case by case basis. Additional person fees may apply to children. Every attempt will be made to schedule families and children in rooms suited for the optimal comfort of all guests staying at the Alpenhorn Gasthaus. We DO NOT have child or baby beds or high/booster chairs and no room is considered ‘child proof’. All children require constant supervision when on Gasthaus property.
*** PLEASE note that quality CHILDCARE at the Gasthaus may be available with advanced notice at an additional cost.
PET POLICY
Guests with pets are accepted on a case by case basis. Please call us at (573) 486-8228. Well behaved parents are welcome to bring small pets (under 25 pounds) in one designated room only (Das Land Haus), depending upon availability. Pets that are calm, travel well and enjoy being around people are best suited for B&B stays. Guest will agree to the following pet rules and responsibility form. A $25/day pet fee applies.
Pet Rules & Responsibilities
Pets will:
- Be kept on a leash for safety reasons when outside
- Be house/potty trained
- Sleep in their own bed/kennels (not on B&B beds) at night
- Remain in their bed/kennel when parents are out of the room
- Pet are NOT be left in the room for extended periods of time
- Pets must be up-to-date on immunizations and flea/tick treatments (will need to provide proof)
Pet Parents will:
- Pick-up and dispose of pet waste appropriately
- Supervise their pets at all times
- Agree to a $25/day pet fee for extra cleaning
- Be financially responsible for any damage caused by pets
HOT TUB POLICY
- Guests are required to sign up for your allotted time & reserve the outdoor
To open the tub for use: release all 4 spa-cover latches in each corner, flip up the front half of the spa cover, pull aluminum bar back and slide the cover over the rear edge of the hot tub.
To close the spa: top and lock all 4 latches of the hot tub after use.
Hot Tub Rules:
- Please no glass in Hot Tub area.
- Be respectful of other guests
- Please keep noise to a minimum
- Guests use the hot tub at their own risk. Management can and will refuse access to hot tub at their discretion and/or if hot tub policies are not followed.
- There will be up to a $250 repair and replacement fee for broken or misuse of hot tub or hot tub area
- Every attempt to keep the hot tub and water clean and up to sanitary standards is followed routinely
WARNINGS:
- During pregnancy, soaking in hot water may cause damage to the fetus (Limit use to 10 minutes at a time)
- DO NOT use the hot tub if recently have ‘spray tanned’
- DO NOT use if drinking alcohol on drugs or medicines. Spa heat speeds up the effects of alcohol, drugs or medicine and can cause unconsciousness
- Immediately leave spa if uncomfortable or sleepy
LOST & FOUND POLICY
IF objects are left behind following a guest stay, items will be collected and stored in a designated ‘lost & found’ container for a 1 year period.
IF guests make a call to retrieve items, they will be promptly shipped to guests with a package, shipping and handling fee.
